Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the guidelines for fee refunds and cancellations related to the Classes and services offered by Durgamoyee Academy.
1. Purpose of the Payment Gateway (PG)
The integrated Payment Gateway is used exclusively for:
- Class registration and enrollment
- Payment of tuition or training fees
- Purchase of academic materials or participation in events
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation is applicable only for selected Classes and must be requested within 48 hours of payment and before the Class start date.
- Cancellation is not applicable once the Class has commenced or in the case of:
- Digital/downloadable content
- Workshops, short-term sessions, and webinars
- One-on-one mentoring or consultation-based programs
Please refer to individual Class pages for cancellation eligibility before making payment.
3. Method & Steps for Cancellation
If your Class is eligible for cancellation, follow these steps:
- Send an email to durgamoyeeacademy@gmail.com with the subject line:
“Cancellation Request – [Your Full Name] – [Class Name]- [UID]” - Mention your payment transaction ID, Class name, and reason for cancellation.
- Attach a copy of your payment receipt or screenshot.
- Our team will verify and confirm cancellation eligibility within 2–3 business days.
4. Cancellation Charges
- No Charges for cancellation if requested within the allowed cancellation window (48 hours of payment).
- If approved, 100% of the paid amount will be refunded via the original mode of payment.
- No refund or cancellation will be processed beyond the allowed time or once the Class starts.
5. Refund Details
- Approved refunds will be initiated within 7 to 10 business days
- The refund amount will be credited back using the original payment method.
- In case of duplicate transactions, 100% of the excess amount will be refunded.
- For cancelled Classes or events by Durgamoyee Academy, full refunds will be issued automatically.
6. Limitation of Liability
Durgamoyee Academy is not responsible for:
- Delays caused by third-party Payment Gateway providers.
- Incorrect details provided by users during payment or registration.
- Network or technical errors on the user’s device leading to failed access.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This policy shall be governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, arbitration will be conducted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Kolkata.
